About 87 percent of African business leaders identify digital skills development as a priority area in need of further investment. To address the substantial demand in technology and education, various interventions are feasible, each complementing the other to meet both short- and long-term needs. Implementing these interventions necessitates collaboration among diverse partners (See Exhibit 1.), including the local private sector, on-the-ground incubators supporting entrepreneurial startups, global technology firms, and institutions of higher education. This partnership involves local colleges in Africa, as well as universities in the US and Europe.
